I-30 Westbound Blocked in Texarkana Following Accident

The westbound lanes of Interstate 30 in Texarkana, Texas are blocked after an accident involving an eighteen wheeler.

Westbound traffic is being diverted off the interstate at the Richmond Road exit. Texas side police say the accident occurred  around 4:30AM, when the big rig hauling two trailers overturned  just before the Loop 369 flyover.

Fortunately no injuries were reported but it is causing a traffic headache this morning.

As of 7AM police say the interstate there will be closed possibly until 8 this morning,.
