Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, many are trying to figure out how to make ends meet for their family's essential needs. Fortunately, Texas residents who are behind on rent will soon be able to get help from $1.3 billion assistance program.

MSN reported that a survey done by the U.S. Census Bureau in January, showed that more than 1.6 million Texans weren't very confident about being able to pay next month’s rent. That really saddens my heart, especially for those with children.

Good news for those in need...... The new program will begin accepting applications on Monday, February 15. Both landlords and tenants will be able to apply and can find requirements and instructions by visiting the Texas Coronovirus Relief Bill Rental Assistance Program website created by Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs.  Texans can also get more information and/or apply by calling this hotline number... 1-833-989-7368. Click the button below to apply.
