My grandfather taught me to fish back in the day and when I started down this little rabbit hole of information, it quickly occurred to me that I had never caught a freshwater fish that weighed more than maybe 2 or 3 pounds. Looking through this list, that's kinda sad.

First of all, I'm shocked by some of the fish you can catch in Arkansas. If someone had asked me what kind of fish you can find around here my list would have been pretty short. Largemouth Bass, Catfish, Crappie... that's all I could think of. I'm way off.
