A new Airbnb planetarium treehouse with a domed observatory is waiting for you in the northwestern part of the state in Springdale, Arkansas. Of course, I'm pretty sure this unique Airbnb has been booked up for the solar eclipse for quite some time now.

However, there are a lot more celestial events that will happen this year, and this luxury planetarium treehouse is the perfect place to get a glimpse of the heavens day or night.

This two-bedroom, one-bath offers some of the most stunning views overlooking Beaver Lake nestled between the Ozark wooded forest.

Not only can you view the twinkling stars at night but during the day you can bird watch or may even see an eagle soaring high above the lake right off the balcony.

The Observatory

Special planning and designing went into making the viewing room one of the highlights of this Airbnb complete with a large Dobsonian telescope for capturing that special moment.

The dome has LED lights that can be turned off when viewing the night sky.

The Owners

Mark and Natalie Jones say that taking on a project of this magnitude was very challenging and it took them a year for the construction, renovation, and planning to be completed but in the end, it has all been worth it, according to a story with 5News.

Winning Airbnb

This treehouse falls under their business name Mystic Ozark Adventures where the couple entered an Airbnb worldwide contest in 2022. The planetarium treehouse was chosen as one of the 100 winners out of thousands of entries winning $100,000 to help build the Airbnb. The planetarium treehouse started booking this past November 2023.

The Living Room

This modern spacious open living room is perfect for relaxing and unwinding.

The couple worked together to combine their love of sci-fi with a treehouse designing every aspect of the planetarium and observatory dome to make it an Arkansas travel destination for those who love spending time outdoors with a stargazing experience like no other.

The Main Bedroom

A beautiful staircase leads to the bedroom loft with a huge window for literally sleeping under the stars.

The Kitchen

Everything you need for cooking that special breakfast and then stepping out on the balcony to hear chirping birds as you sip your morning coffee.

Mystic Ozark Adventures is already working on some future endeavors but in the meantime, they are hoping that the planetarium treehouse will satisfy its guests for generations to come.
