I'm not much of a TV watcher. I can think of a million things I can get done instead of sitting stationary watching TV. However, since this whole "quarantine new way of life" (thanks Coronavirus), I have discovered some really good movies, documentaries & series.

I really don't do a lot of mushy drama films. I like action, comedy and I LOVE thrillers. Above all I enjoy a good documentary and a series I can binge on. Below are my top must-see Flicks and their trailers.

I'll start with movies:

STEP BROTHERS (2008)

Two coddled guys live with their respective single parents, but then their folks fall in love and marry, making the guys stepbrothers.

SELF MADE: Inspired by the Life of Madam C.J. Walker (2020)

Meet America’s first empire-building, barrier-breaking, self made female millionaire. Academy Award winner Octavia Spencer stars in Self Made: Inspired by the Life of Madam C.J. Walker, a Netflix Limited Series.

MA (2019)

Octavia Spencer stars in this horror movie. Her character is pretty twisted.

Law Abiding Citizen (2009)

Clyde Shelton (Gerard Butler) is an upstanding family man whose wife and daughter are brutally murdered during a home invasion.

The People vs O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story (2016)

The People v. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story is the first season of the FX true crime anthology television series American Crime Story

DOCUMENTARIES:

Becoming (2020)

Join former first lady Michelle Obama in an intimate documentary looking at her life, hopes and connection with others as she tours with "Becoming.".

Abducted In Plain Sight

The words “bonkers”, “crazy”, and “wild” might come to mind while watching the true crime documentary Abducted in Plain Sight, but they would all be negated by the disturbing story that unfolds in this film.

13th

13TH refers to the 13th Amendment to the Constitution, which reads “Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States.”
