Grab your mask and get ready to have some fun while raising money for the American Cancer Society this Saturday night, March 11, with Team Sumoas 8th Annual March Masquerade.

Team Sumoas hosts this terrific event each year in memory of Michael "Sumo" Sams, according to their Facebook Page, and also dedicates it to others lost to cancer, still fighting it and those who have beaten this horrible disease.

The doors will open at 7PM at the Texarkana Convention Center at 4610 Cowhorn Creek across from Central Mall. The night's entertainment will be provided by the band Relentless.

If you're looking for tickets, they can be purchased this week at the Farmer's Bank & Trust next to Christus St. Michael and by Cavender's Boot City. Tickets are $45 per person, $80 for a couple or $50 each at the door the night of the event.

Cancer survivors and those still in the fight are welcome at no charge but you must RSVP to Barbara Walker at 870-571-8188.
