Mudbug Festival Madness

We're counting down the days to a whole lot of Mudbug Madness! The 2019 Mudbug Festival is set for May 24 through May 26.

What began in '84 as a two-day street festival in downtown Shreveport, is now one of the largest Cajun festivals around featuring some of the best Zydeco, Blues, and Jazz artists the city has to offer. The four-day event boasts, scrumptious Cajun cuisine and fun for all ages.

A big draw for many visitors are the Crawfish Eating Contests. Whether you're a local celebrity, male, female or child, there's a shell crackin', mudbug suckin' challenge for you on Friday, MAY 24 AT 11:30 AM. To view guidelines and stage locations for each contest, click HERE.
