It’s ‘A Murder Mystery’ July 30th In Texarkana
The Texarkana Museum Systems will have a "Murder Mystery", on July 30th at the historic P.J. Ahern home in Texarkana.
The museum systems invite you to participate in their unique crafting event "Canned Christmas". This will take place at the PJ Ahren Home in historic downtown Texarkana. The program begins at 6p on Saturday, July 30th. This is what the Texarkana Museum Systems had to say about this event:
It's 1948 and the Cudham Riding Club is in turmoil following the untimely death of its founder and Chairwoman, Lady Amanda Cudham. All the members of the club are invited to a special meeting, to decide who should replace Amanda. Old scores will be settled, evil crimes uncovered, and there will even be time for some horse-trading.
The museum system tells its attendees that they will not know if they are a victim or a suspect until their arrival at the dinner. Tickets must be purchased in advance and the deadline is July 27th.
Admission to this event is $40 for Texarkana Museum System Members and $45 for non-members. You can get signed up for this event at the Texarkana Museum Systems ticket portal.
The historic PJ Ahern home was designed by the original owners in the early 1900s. The two-story home features four bedrooms, four baths, a butler pantry, a music room, and a screened-in porch that was added in 1918 for the kids to sleep in.
The PJ Ahern was purchased in 2011 by the Texarkana Museum Systems and is now a historic site. The PJ Ahern home is located at 403 Laurel Street in Texarkana, Arkansas.
