One Dead in Arkansas-side Stabbing

The Texarkana Gazette is reporting on a stabbing death Sunday at the Beacon Point Apartments on Arkansas Blvd. The victim was Lane Denney, 26, who suffered multiple stab wounds and was taken to Wadley Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

Simone Miller, 20, was arrested later Sunday on charges of tampering with evidence and fleeing the scene. The investigation is continuing and additional charges are expected.

Denney’s body has been transported to Little Rock to the State Crime Lab for an autopsy.
