Pearls Of Wisdom From Maya Angelou on Her Birthday

In honor of the late great, Maya Angelou, a very wise Alpha Kappa Alpha woman, on what would have been her 91st birthday.  I want to share with you the Pearls Of Wisdom from her jewelry box that I put on and wear daily!

The thing about a river flowing is that it's fresh water (Pearls of Wisdom for another day) and IT’S NATURAL…. There’s just something naturally powerful about a woman who is one with her spirit and completely comfortable in her own skin.  She IS the light when she walks in the room and she’s completely comfortable with other women because she's at one with herself.
