R. Kelly returned to Cook County Jail for the second time in less than two weeks after failing to pay more than $150,000 in back child support.

Sources say, Kelly was taken into custody following a child support hearing and was led away by deputies and handcuffed Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Cook County Sheriff's Department, Kelly will have to pay (IN FULL) $161,663, which is the amount he currently owes in back child support to be released from custody.

Darryll Johnson, Kelly's publicist had the following to say to:

He was expecting that he was going to come and make an arrangement, but they wanted the entire amount. As you know he hadn't worked in a long time. He can't book shows, he can't do anything.

Johnson also told CNN reporters that Kelly went to court in good spirits, expecting to walk out after making arrangements to pay what he had, which was between $50K and $60K. R. Kelly is due back in court on March 13 at 9:30 a.m. for child support, nine days later, he will have to return to court for the 10 indictments he has against him for sexual abuse.
