See Future Stars on The Path to The PGA Tour at The Texarkana Open
If you love to watch golf then get ready for some fun during The 5th Annual Texarkana Open. It all takes place from Wednesday, July 13 to Saturday, July 16 at the Texarkana Country Club.
Come out and see future golf stars as they play toward the PGA Tour. It's free admission for you to come and watch.
There is a lot of money at stake at the Texarkana Open with an estimated total purse of $164,500.
There will be a Guaranteed First Prize of $20,000. The event is hosted by the Texarkana Country Club and Northridge Country Club.
According to the event page, here's what will take place and how it will work.
The event will consist of 72-holes of stroke play (weather permitting). The field will be split over the two courses for rounds 1 and 2. Fields will be cut after 36 holes to the top 35% of the starting field, including ties (maximum 60 and ties). Amateurs are included in the cut number. The final two rounds will be played at Texarkana CC
Some of the players the will be there include, Lawrence Allan of Scotland, Mike Anderson from Miami, Florida, Matthew Ashley of San Jose, California, Ryan Baca of
Sugar Land, Texas and Cody Banach of Clear Lake City, Texas.
