St. Patrick's Day is Friday, March 17, and historic Jefferson, Texas is the place to be this weekend for St. Patty's Shamrocks and Shenanigans celebration.
St. Patrick's Celebration
The fun starts on Friday with a shopping experience like no other, make sure while you are strolling downtown to be on the lookout for hidden Shamrocks because if you find one take it to the counter of a participating business so you can draw a lucky prize. Now that's what I call the Luck of the Irish and they won't even ask you to kiss the blarney stone.

The Lucky 5K and Fun Run will kick start the festivities on Saturday at 8 AM in the Marion Couty Courthouse.
Mr. DJ will be rockin' the courtyard with some music and the Tacos El Bueno food truck will be set as well. Tarot Card readings will be available and there will be plenty of green beer for purchase until it sells out. The courtyard is BYOB too! So come dressed wearing green or if you desire come dressed as a leprechaun for a great time.
Join the fun at Auntie Skinner's Riverboat Club Restaurant and Bar on Friday with a St. Patrick's Karaoke party then on Saturday it's the St. Patty's Bash with a costume contest and live music from WTW the 2023 Band of the Year.
Medieval Wine Faire
This weekend in Jefferson is also the Medieval Wine Faire at the Knightlight Tavern and Olde World Restaurant. There will be wine tastings on both Friday and Saturday plus live music and a costume contest.
