Suspect in Waffle House Double Shooting Turns Himself In

Early Saturday morning Texarkana Police were asking to be contacted by anyone knowing the wherebouts of Calvin Gardner, the suspect in the double shooting that occurred early Saturday morning at Waffle House on stateliness. According to a Texarkana, Texas Police Department press release, 30-year-old Gardner turned himself in to police around 9 PM on Tuesday.

.Gardner was booked into the Bi-State Jail for two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. According to our sources, bond has not yet been set.

Until last night Gardner had remained at large since the shooting which occured around 3 AM, Saturday, September 14. When police arrived that night, they found two men suffering  from gunshot wounds. One had been shot in the chest, the other in the back and arm. Initially, one was listed in critical condition, the other in stable condition. Both men are said to be ok now.
