The ducks will soon be racing again! The Friends of the Foundation of CHRISTUS St. Michael Health System will present The Great Texarkana Duck Race on Saturday, Aug. 22, 2015, at Holiday Springs Water Park in Texarkana.

Step outside the pop-box for a minute let the music play that speaks to you even though it has no words. Honestly I don't even know how to categorize Jon Schmidt, classical isn't quite it, easy listening? No way! Jazz? Nope. Pop-infused-contemporary-classical-piano-and-stuff? That's not it either but it's closer. Whatever we're supposed to call it, it's good, real good.
