Yesterday, April 5, was the Texas Rangers 2021 season home opener at Globe Life Field.  The organization invited Texas Governor Greg Abbott to throw the ceremonial first pitch of the season. Governor Abbott wrote a letter declining the invitation citing the MLB's decision to move the organization's All-Star game and draft in Atlanta in response to Georgia's restrictive voting law.
