The Texas Collegiate League had to delay their start this season just like everything else has but today, April 22, made the decision to launch on July 3.

The Texarkana Twins are excited to announce that their 2019 schedule will begin Wednesday, May 29th at home with 2 set games at George Dobson Field against the newest Texas Collegiate League (TCL) franchise, the Baton Rouge Rougarou.

Brian Nelson, the head of baseball operations of Clutch Entertainment, recently announced the hiring of Bill Clay, the 2nd Head Coach in Twins franchise History. With coaching stints in professional baseball and in the college ranks, Coach Clay brings along a wealth of experience to the Texarkana Twins.

The Texarkana Twins added some depth to the infield with the addition of catcher Axel Poesmans and LSU-Shreveport’s Matthew Hammock.
