TASD Schedule Pick-UP & Meet The Teacher Dates

Back to School time its just around the corner! Time to go get school supplies, school clothes and pick up schedules.  The Texarkana Arkansas School District announced their times for Arkansas High School schedule pickup, Freshmen Orientation and Meet the Teacher times for all the TASD campuses.

According to the press release:

Arkansas High School Schedule Pick-Up
Tenth through twelfth-grade students will pick up their schedules on  Thursday, August 8, from 9AM - 3PM in the Freshman Academy Foyer.

On Monday, August 12, freshmen will pick up their schedules in the AHS Library at 4:30 p.m. and orientation will begin at 5:30 p.m. The Hog Howdy Freshmen Orientation will take place in the AHS Student Union immediately following schedule pick up.

Meet the Teacher – All campuses will hold Meet the Teacher on

Monday, August 12.
Washington ABC Program (Pre-K): 4:30 – 6:00 p.m.
All Elementary Campuses (K-5): 4:30 – 6:30 p.m.
College Hill 6^th Grade Academy: 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.
North Heights Junior High (7 & 8): 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.
Arkansas High School (9-12): 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.

First Day of School – All students will begin classes on Wednesday, August 14. Elementary students, grades kindergarten through fifth, begin their school day at 7:45 a.m. and dismiss at 3:15 p.m. Students in grades sixth through twelfth start at 8:00 a.m. with a dismissal time of 3:15 p.m.
