In Arkansas, the Tax-Free Weekend begins at 12:01 AM on Saturday, August 5, 2023, and ending at 11:59 PM on Sunday, August 6, 2023,

Some Electronics Will be Tax-Free

In Arkansas, there are certain electronics that are eligible for the Tax-Free weekend.  The Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration stated these are items that are used by students in a "course of study". Things like calculators, desktop computers, cellular phones, e-readers, computer mouse, laptop computers, computer monitors, printers, computer keyboards and tablets.

Clothing & Accessories

You can get tax-free on most clothes and accessories, but the price needs to be less than $100 per item. This includes just about everything, undergarments, shoes, pants, shirts and dresses. Plus, baby items from diapers to receiving blankets. Clothing accessories with a price less than $50 per item including briefcases, cosmetics, hair barrettes, hair bows and handbags and more

This will be a great time to pick up school supplies too and also tax-free on a limited list of school art supplies.

Will Online Purchases be Tax-Free?
