Texarkana COVID-19 By-The-Numbers for September 15
(AP) — Arkansas has reported 36 new COVID-19 deaths and more than 1,500 new cases of the coronavirus. The Department of Health on Tuesday raised the state’s COVID-19 death toll since the pandemic began to 7,334. The state’s coronavirus cases rose by 1,544 to 477,191 total since the pandemic began. According to Johns Hopkins University research data, Arkansas ranks 15th nationally for new cases per capita. Gov. Asa Hutchinson said 11 of the deaths announced Tuesday were delayed reports, with two occurring as far back as June.
