TTPD have Officers arrested Latavion Larry, 21, for Deadly Conduct after a warrant was issued for his arrest this weekend.
Police stated on their Facebook page that with the use of video from cameras in the area Detective Cliff Harris was able to identify Latavion Larry as one of the shooters. Larry is currently being held in the Bi-State Jail with a $1 million bond. They are still looking for the second person involved in this incident from Friday night. The victim is now listed in stable condition.
Earlier: Texarkana Texas Police need your help in looking for two men who allegedly got into a gunfight Friday evening where a stray bullet hit a man that was getting ice at an ice machine located in Oaklawn Village off New Boston Road in Texarkana.
A 33-year-old man and his wife were getting ice at the self-serve ice machine in the parking lot when they heard nearby gunshots. He was struck once in the chest by a bullet that is believed to have come from an apparent gunfight between two individuals about 50 yards away in the parking lot.
The police said Friday night that the man was in critical condition at Christus St. Michael Hospital. We haven't been able to get an update on his condition.
Police need your help as they are looking for the two alleged shooters who were described as two black males who fled in two separate cars. One of the vehicles was described by witnesses as being a white Ford or Mercury 4-door car. They were seen fleeing the area heading south from the parking lot toward W. 15th Street.
