Texarkana Police Arrest Juvenile On Charges of Home Burglary
Texarkana Texas Police recently arrested a juvenile teen for a reported home burglary.
Authorities say they arrested a 15 year old juvenile for a Burglary in the Highland Park neighborhood.
Police say they got a call of burglary in progress at a house in the 3200 block of Olive Street. Two males immediately fled when officers arrived, but they caught one of them after a short foot chase.
Police say the pair apparently did not actually make entry into the house, but were in the back yard and had pried the screen off a window. While the officers were out on that call, another burglary call came in at a house in 3300 block of Pine (a block away). The officers were able to allegedly tie the 15 year old they’d just arrested back to that burglary. Authorities say he had allegedly burglarized that home before he and his accomplice tried to break into the home on Olive Street.
The suspect was charged with Burglary of a Habitation and Eluding Arrest. He was transported to Juvenile Detention Center.
