Texarkana, Texas Police are investigating the shooting death of a man at car wash Saturday night.

According to a police release, officers were dispatched to the Bay Wash at 4203 N. Stateline Avenue on Saturday night at 10:10 in regards to a shooting victim who was unresponsive.  Officers arrived and discovered Tilford Barfield III, 25, of Atlanta Texas, laying on the ground with several gunshot wounds to his abdomen and legs.  Barfield was transported to Christus St. Michael by LifeNet EMS, where he was later pronounced dead.

According to witnesses, a fight broke out at the car wash.  As Barfield watched, he was shot several times. Two suspects fled the scene in a red Chevrolet Tahoe prior to officers arrival. Detectives obtained arrest warrants for the two individuals.
36 year old Lee Lewis, Jr. was arrested without incident around 4AM at his Magnolia Street residence and booked into the Bi-State Jail on charges of Murder.
Police identified the second suspect as 29 year old Jimmy Jerome Dancer of Texarkana, Texas. Dancer, who may still be armed has not yet been arrested. He is believed to be driving the red Chevrolet Tahoe.
