Texas A&M Texarkana Student Isolated After Possible Contact with COVID-19
As of Monday, March 9,a local student is under voluntary quarantine after possible exposure to the COVID 19 virus according to Texas A&M-Texarkana officials.
Texarkana Gazette reported that Texas A&M University-Texarkana is taking "appropriate necessary precaution health measures to isolate the student until results are received. This information was sent via email to students late Monday, and went on to advise students who are ill not to attend classes or campus activities and to seek medical attention if they have symptoms such as fever and/or sore throat.
