A fourth stimulus check could be in the future of the American people, as the idea is being discussed and gaining support from Congress. Since the pandemic started Americans have been provided three stimulus payments while millions are still unemployed. As many were receiving their COVID-relief payments, lawmakers began discussing not only a fourth stimulus check, but possible recurring payments until the pandemic has subsided.

According to Newsweek, law makers wrote the following statement to President Biden:

We urge you to include recurring direct payments and automatic unemployment insurance extensions tied to economic conditions in your Build Back Better long-term economic plan. The crisis is far from over, and families deserve certainty that they can put food on the table and keep a roof over their heads.

Since the letter was written and submitted to President Biden, support for recurring monthly payments has doubled, going from 11 supporters to 21. Keep ya eyes and ears open.I would support recurring payments because that would mirror the flow of income families were accustomed to prior to the unemployment surge due to the pandemic. I've been really blessed during this pandemic. However, there are families having to render over their family pets because they can't afford to feed them. As stated in the letter from law makers, this crisis is far from over.
