Big Car Shows and A Fall Festival Are Things You Can Do This Weekend In Texarkana

Big car shows and a Fall Festival are just some of the awesome things you can do in Texarkana this weekend.

1. Fall Festival with a pumpkin patch, petting zoo, and more. This great event is happening on Saturday at Three Chicks Feed and Seed in Texarkana Arkansas. There will be a pancake breakfast as well.

2. It is a Rockin weekend in Texarkana. You can see "Miljenko Matijevic" lead vocalist of the 80s band "Steelheart" will have a special acoustic show. Local band "Locked and Loaded" will open for him.

3. Fall Bike Tours. This is the last weekend for the fall bike tours in Texarkana. You can even rent a bike if you want. This is what the Texarkana Parks and Recreation department had to say about these tours:

The Tours will be each Friday from October 14th to November 4th at 5:30 PM.  The tours will begin at the Museum of Regional History, 219 N. Stateline Ave., Texarkana, TX 75501, and end at Pecan Point Brewery for free appetizers!  The Tour is free for those with bicycles, and $5.00 if a participant needs to rent a bicycle.

4. Fall Car shows. You have two to choose from this weekend. The big 4 States Auto Museum's big show is Saturday. The Elks Lodge has a car and motorcycle show and a 'Poker Run' on Saturday as well.

5. This weekend is hopefully the last time we "fall back" yep, the time change is Sunday morning at 2 am. But there is hope that we will not have to do this anymore. The government is working on keeping our time at the current time all year.
