Thursday’s Pearls Of Wisdom

We all have our weaknesses. I'm no different than you. I have my vices as well. So, I’m not here to convict anyone of anything  with no heaven or hell to put anyone in. But I will say this: One lesson we should learn from those things that make us fall short….. You can’t beat the demons you enjoy playing with. If alcohol is a demon you’re trying to defeat, quit playing with it. If perversion and/or infidelity is your problem, unsubscribe to the XXX site and stay out of folks' inboxes and DMs. For that matter if gluttony/overeating is your demon, stop filling your kitchen and setting yourself up to graze.

You will never win ON ANY LEVEL playing with the very demon you’re trying to defeat.
