Everybody's not in your life for the REST of your life. Some people are divinely connected to you while others are seasonal. We spend all our energy and time trying to make something eternal that's meant to be temporary. It's like the old Kenny Rogers' song, The Gambler... "You got to know when to hold. Know when to fold 'em. Know when to walk away. Know when to run." Ultimately, you have to discern when a person's time is up in your life. How do you know that time has come? You know when the two of you no longer fit. When things are forced. And believe me, you do NOT want to hold on to anyone whose season in your life is over. It's like keeping milk passed its expiration date. It'll stink up everything.
