Stop looking for an applause from people who aren't even in your audience. Your audience is composed of those closest to you.... family, friends, mentors, etc. who have your back, love you unconditionally and add value to you. So, stop going to work looking for friends, a standing ovation or pat on the back. You'll "Stay outta ya feelings" when you understand who is in your audience and who isn't.
