Usher Robbed of $820,000 in Cash and Jewelry in Home Theft
Usher was the victim of a home burglary back in March. Apparently, thieves broke into his Los Angeles home and stole over $820,000 in jewelry and cash.
According to The Blast, Usher’s soon-to-be-ex-wife Grace Miguel reported the home theft on March 29 after their housekeeper discovered several suspicious things like “a footprint on the second floor” and that the security camera was missing and the connecting wires were cut.
When Miguel arrived at the house, she told police that some of Usher’s jewelry had been stolen, as well as $20,000 in cash. The robbers managed to grab six watches, including one that cost $220,000, and a rose gold Jesus necklace worth $200,000.
The L.A. home is currently up for sale. Usher put the property on the market back in February. The three-story 1920s Mediterranean palace boasts five bedrooms and four full and two half bathrooms. The asking price is $4.2 million.
If the burglary is not enough bad news for Usher, last week, Miguel officially announced that they've split. The couple was married in 2015 and have no children together.
