‘The Voice’ Season 15 Premieres Tonight: Here’s How to View
The Voice is back for its 15th season tonight (September 24), and before you get settled in and choose your favorite contestant, we're here to give you the lowdown on what to expect this season.
As always, the singing competition show kicks off with a two-night premiere, where judges Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, Kelly Clarkson and Jennifer Hudson hear singers perform during the blind auditions and turn their red chairs for those they want on their individual teams. Carson Daly will be back on hosting duty, with Halsey, Keith Urban and Thomas Rhett serving as advisers, along with former The Voice coach CeeLo Green.
One new aspect of Season 15 is the addition of a sixth coach. Over the summer, The Voice announced that country darling Kelsea Ballerini will serve as a mentor to six lucky contestants who fail to make it past the blind auditions. That journey will be filmed as a web series called The Comeback Stage, which sees Ballerini's singers pair up and perform in battle rounds. The winner of The Comeback Stage will have an opportunity to sing in the main competition and be part of the show's Top 13 this November, just in time for viewer voting.
Though it was recently announced John Legend would be replacing Hudson as a coach in the show's 16th season, you can see J-Hud in all her glory for the next few months. The Voice airs at 8pm EST/PST every Monday and Tuesday on NBA. You can stream the show via the NBC app or the network’s website. Those with Hulu’s Live TV service will also be able to stream in real-time, while basic Hulu subscribers can watch the premiere on-demand after it airs. The Voice is also available for streaming on platforms including FuboTV and Sling TV.
