Jada Pinkett Smith has never tried to hold her tongue. The veteran Hollywood actress is known for speaking out against injustices, particularly in the entertainment business. However, Mrs. Smith shared an old video of herself giving the late Eazy-E a piece of her mind.

In the video from a '90s talk show Live L.A., a young Jada Pinkett Smith explains to the Ruthless Records founder that she can’t support his music but it degrades women. She encourages Eazy to create music that uplifts the black community.

“I told him that before I met him today I thought he was a woman hater because of his music,” she said while  Eazy looked at her with a smile on his face. “Him owning his own record company can make a change within his community, to uplift us."

On the episode that was filmed the day after the infamous L.A. riots, a young Jada then tells Eazy that running his own a record label gives him the power to control the message. “When I listen to his music I want to feel good about myself, I want to feel good about my people, and I said ‘Eric, you have the power to do that,'" she said.

When Eazy-E was asked if he would change the lyrics in his songs "to make women feel good about themselves" he responded that he will...to a certain degree. "I've always speak nice about the sisters," he stated, to which the young Jada replies, "not to me."

In the caption, Mrs. Smith wrote, "This is the day I met Eazy! We became the best of friends after this program."

Not only did Jada Pinkett Smith left a mark on Eazy-E, she left a big impression on her husband Will Smith. On Mother's Day (May 13), Smith reposted his wife's clip and wrote in the caption, "This is why I Love [heart emoji] You @jadapinkettsmith!! Mother to ALL Children. Eazy is lookin’ like, “How do you fit ALL OF THAT into that little frame?”
