Wednesday’s Pearls Of Wisdom

Today as we remember the late great Gandhi... a quote comes to mind....

"I will not let anyone walk through my mind with their dirty feet." -Gandhi

You HAVE to weed those folks with dirty feet out of your life. I’m referring to the folks who can find a problem for every solution. The ones who rarely, if ever, have anything good or positive to say about anything or anyone.  Sadly, many of them we love, because they're our friends and family... but they're toxic and their words are venomous. Whether they mean to or not, they vex your spirit. Pay attention to the thoughts that run through your head and/or how you feel when you leave a conversation with people with dirty feet.

Like my great grandmother used to say…. "Sometimes you have to love people from a distance and feed them out of a long-handled spoon". But whatever you do... don't let them walk through your mind with dirty feet.
