Week 6 Local Black-Owned Business Spotlight: Underground Clothing

Majic 93.3 is so proud of our local black-owned businesses! For the next few months, we will highlight a black owned business each week. This week (week 6) we are highlighting Underground Apparel.  

Underground Apparel was founded by TJ Davis, a young black entrepreneur with dreams of making his clothing line global. The brand consists of t-shirts, hoodies, and shoes, as of now. Davis said he has plans to add a variety of more items this fall.

The brand's logo is a bit unusual, but very interesting and unique in its own right. The logo is an angry teddy bear called the raging bear. Wait... an angry Teddy Bear? Sounds like an oxymoron initially. That is until founder and designer, TJ Davis breaks it down for you.

The Underground label and the raging bear represents the struggle. Growing up I knew what it was like to get it out of the mud. My band speaks to the people who can relate.
