World AIDS Day
Today is World AIDS Day and people across the globe are united in the fight against HIV in support of people living with HIV and to commemorate those who have lost the fight against HIV.
People around the world are wearing red ribbons today in recognition of World Aids Day which takes place Dec. 1 each year. The red ribbon is the universal symbol to raise awareness and has become the most recognized symbol of the decade.
As it stands, Houston leads Texas in numbers of those infected with HIV.
