The first-round order of the 2018 NFL Draft is posted and we're ready to go. Let's take a look t the top positional needs for every team. The draft order is determined by record. So our top 10 NFL teams suffered pretty bad last season. Although my Green Bay Packers had a pretty sucky season, they're listed #14 in the draft. For you Cowboy fans, you're turn in the draft comes in 19th.
So let's take a look below at 1-10 NFL teams picking in the draft tonight, as well as where they're needs lie.
Record: 0-16
Top needs: QB, CB, OT, S, WR.
Comments:. Although they acquired Jarvis Landry this offseason, look for the Browns to add another receiving target.
Record: 3-13
Top needs: QB, OL, RB, EDGE, WR.
Comment’: Well everyone knows the Giants could stick with Eli Manning for at least another year. However, the team needs to find a successor for him.
Record: 5-11
Top needs: QB, EDGE, OG, OT, WR.
The skinny: According to CFB 24/7: Path to the draft, “Re-signing of Josh McCown and signing of Teddy Bridgewater might not be enough to chase the Jets off of a QB in the draft.”
Record: 4-12
Browns top needs: QB, CB, OT, S, WR.
Comment: This is the pick Cleveland acquired when the Texans traded up to land Deshaun Watson in last year's draft.
Record: 5-11
Top needs: CB, EDGE, OL, TE, WR.
Comment: No comment.
Record: 4-12
Top needs: EDGE, LB, OL, WR, DT.
Comment: The Colts need help! They simply don't have the talent they need at inside linebacker and will have to try to add talent at the position. Wide receiver appeared to be a strength a few years ago, but that isn't the case any longer.
Record: 5-11 (.555)
Top needs: RB, CB, DL, S, OL.
The skinny: Doug Martin has departed, which means finding a new RB is on the to-do list.
Record: 5-11
Top needs: CB, OL, EDGE, DL, ILB.
The skinny: If the Bears, a huge rival of my GB Packers, see an opportunity to become faster and more explosive at inside linebacker, they should take it.
Record: 6-10
Comment: EDGE, OG, CB, WR, TE.
The skinny: The 49ers were 26th in the league in sacks last season, so they need to add more pass rush.
10. Oakland Raiders
Record: 6-10
Top needs: LB, CB, S, OT, DT.
Comment: The Raiders lack cornerbacks that are taking the ball away, and will likely add more help at CB and safety.
