6 Dead In Dallas After Death-Suicide Pact
According to Allen Police, six family member were found dead in a Dallas suburb in what appears to be a murder-suicide pact made between two brothers. Soooo sad! The brothers were very young. One was 19-years-old, the other one 20-years-old. Around 1 a.m. on Monday, police received a call from a concerned friend saying that a person was suicidal, police Sgt. Jon Felty said.
"The two brothers had entered into an agreement that they were going to complete suicide, and from that, it went to where the entire family was taken with them," Felty said.
One of the brothers described what would happen on his instagram page. According to NBC Dallas-Fort Worth, the brothers planned to fatally shoot their family members and then themselves, and it mentioned being clinically depressed.
Mental illness is not to be taken lightly and is not a discriminator of age, race, gender, sexual orientation, culture or religion. If you suspect a friend or family member is depressed, encourage them to seek help BEFORE a situation such as this takes place.
The family is from Bangladesh, but police were able to locate some family in Florida.
Felty told reporters:
We have never had an incident like this in the 21 years that I have been here... It's just a tragedy. There's no other way to describe it. It's a tragedy that you just can't imagine.
