There were numerous great speeches given yesterday at the Republican National Convention in Tampa, FL and while it was hard to pick just two to highlight here, these were simply two of the best. The State delegates voted yesterday giving Mitt Romney 1575 votes, far more than the needed 1144 to secure the nomination. All that's left now is for Romney to officially accept the Republican nomination which will happen Thursday night during his keynote speech.

The lovely wife of Mitt Romney for 43 years now is Ann Romney, she is not a politician, she is not an actor, she is a wife, a mother and a grand mother. Ann Romney is a classy lady and although her speech last night was a little shaky at first, she smoothed it out and told us all the things about her husband that the mainstream media doesn't seem to want us to know. If you didn't see it live last night, watch it now below.

The keynote speaker for the night was New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, who came in and owned that convention during his time at the podium. Christie knocked it out of the park in his speech about respect. Again, if you missed it, check it out right now in HD below.

There were many other fantastic speeches, most of them quite short. Go to the YouTube page for the RNC and pick out a few. Some highlights to watch for would be Texas Senatorial candidate Ted Cruz, Governor Nikki Haley of South Carolina, Former Democrat Alabama Congressman Artur Davis, Senator Rick Santorum and Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker.

Tonight the RNC will be featuring speeches from Senator Rand Paul and Senator John McCain. Remarks by Governor Luis Fortuño of Puerto Rico, Governor Tim Pawlenty, Mike Huckabee and Condoleezza Rice. Tonight's keynote address will be from vice presidential nominee Rep. Paul Ryan.
