Free Backpacks? It’s The ‘Back to School Backpack Giveaway’
As parents secretly look forward to the kids returning to school the amount of money spent on student school supplies is crazy. Oh, the stress of it all. That's why it's great to see that there will be a Back to School Backpack Giveaway coming on Saturday, August 13 in Texarkana.
The giveaway will take place at Mount Orange Baptist Church located at 2510 W. 10th Stree in Texarkana, Texas.
When Does the Back to School Backpack Giveaway Start?
The fun all starts at 11:30 AM and will go on until 1:30 PM. They will be giving away 100 backpacks. It will be on a first come first serve basis. That means, get there early.
What Supplies Will Be in The Backpacks?
The backpacks will include a notebook, pencils, erasers, pens and glue.
There's a Raffle Too!
There will also be a raffle drawing for one bicycle that will be given away and a back-to-school natural braid style by Braids byLatrice. The winners will be contacted on Tuesday, August 15.
What is Package of Love Care?
Package of Love Care is a team of individuals that work together to reach out, serve and provide services to assist children and their families.
Other projects they are working on include Summer Bicycle Drive, Kids Smart Camp plus a Thanksgiving Drive and more.
