Popeyes Chicken Reportedly Coming Back In November

GOOD NEWS: According to VIBE, Popeyes is bringing back their infamous fried chicken sandwich next month (November). This summer, Popeyes was the most talked about fast-food chain in the country for it's chicken sandwich addition. I never got a chance to even sample one. Customers lined up out the drive-in and down the road in hopes of getting to place their order for the sandwich before it sold out. The chicken sandwich sold out in most locations within two weeks of its debut on Aug. 12.

This time in addition to bringing the sandwich back, Popeyes will also hire an additional 400 new employees to meet the anticipated demands. One Popeyes spokesperson told a news outlet:

“Our franchisees have worked to increase staffing,” parent company Restaurant Brands International, Inc.,“We have been working diligently to bring the sandwich back to our restaurants soon, as we know our guests are anxiously anticipating its return.”

This time-around hopefully I will get to at least smell one. If I'm fortunate enough to actually get to taste one, I hope it lives up to all the hype. COME ON NOVEMBER!
