Four States Fairgrounds

I can't wait for this event every year! It's time once again for the Four State Friends of NRA Banquet at the Four States Fair Grounds on Thursday, August 15.

The annual Running WJ Benefit Barrel Race is this weekend, Friday, June 21 through Sunday, June 23. The Runnin WJ Benefit Barrel Race is an annual divisional race that benefits the Runnin WJ Therapeutic Riding Center. The event will be held at the normal venue: Four States Fairgrounds, 3700 East 50th Street, Texarkana, Arkansas. It will be fun to watch too!

The AKC All Breed Dog Show hit Texarkana this past weekend with a smaller than normal turnout of entrants. The Kennel Club of Texarkana hosted this annual event. There has been some turmoil in the kennel club which may have led to the less than normal participation of entrants and spectators.

There is a don't miss event this weekend -- the AKC All Breed Dog Show will be in Texarkana on Saturday and Sunday. Over 750 dogs representing more than 124 different breeds will compete in conformation and obedience. There will also be many vendors with tons of cool items for you to see and purchase. New this year is the four to six month beginner puppy competitions that is bound to bring a smile
