Texarkana Crime Scene Digging For Baby’s Body Behind Apartment
Texarkana Crime Scene Units are digging for a baby's body at an apartment complex located 12th and Fannin Streets.
According to the Texarkana Gazette, Crime Scene Units have reason to believe a 5 month old baby boy's body was buried at The Oaks Rose Hill apartment complex. The mother is currently being investigated in Temple, Texas in connection with the death of two other children who allegedly died from starvation. TTPD Spokesperson, Shawn Vaughn gave the following statement:
In the course of that investigation there came information that there may have been a child that died here and was buried behind the apartments here.
However, in Texarkana police are still trying to determine if a crime was committed.
Vaughn also told media outlets that about a month ago, cadaver dogs were taken to Texarkana's The Oaks at Rose Hill apartment complex and hit on some areas but it was not enough to be sure if a body was there.
According to Vaughn, TTPD has gone to Temple to interview the mother and father who is not longer with the mother. This is a developing story. We will share more information as the story unfolds
