Lately, you may have noticed I've been on this kick about waterfalls in Arkansas. Have you ever heard know about Car Wash Falls?

Car Wash Falls located in the Ozark Mountain Region gets its name because it is the only waterfall in Arkansas you can drive your vehicle under and now is a perfect time. The only problem is getting there it's best you have a 4-wheel drive but getting there is part of the adventure.

Surrounded by tall forested trees you will have to navigate through a stream to get there but if there has been too much rain the stream may be impassable and is not recommended.

The falls run alongside Big Piney Creek and spill off the top of a bluff onto the muddy gravel road.

There are some other options on how to get to Car Wash Falls but if you can't there are some other waterfalls in the area but you will have to hike to them.

This area is great for hiking or riding ATVs with some of the backwood trails that lead up to the small town of Jasper. It's a 5-hour road trip from Texarkana but well worth the drive. Get directions here.
