Understanding The Electoral College [VIDEO]

The presidential election maybe over, but the raw emotion that some are feeling is very much alive. Protesting is a healthy way to express discontent, as long as it's peaceful.

I can't help but feel that some of the people that are protesting might not understand how our election process works. Actually a lot of people on both sides of the political realm don't understand it. The electoral college is confusing, but once you understand why our forefathers put it into action then it makes more sense.

The great thing about this nation is our forefathers also made sure that we will be okay. Checks and Balances...remember that? Do you remember when President Obama was elected and people were saying "Oh no! He's too liberal! Our country will go down the drain!"...Well, it didn't. It went in a direction that some people didn't like but...our country is still intact.

Love him or hate him, Donald Trump is the President Elect.  President Obama said yesterday he wants him to succeed, because if he succeeds our country succeeds. In the end, isn't that really what we all want?
