Win Tickets to Saturday Night’s Concert with Robert St. John Band at MoRH Better BBQ, Bands & Bike Festival

There's a new festival in Town! This weekend is the first of many for the 'MoRH Better BBQ, Bands & Bikes Festival' with food, arts and crafts and live music in Downtown Texarkana benefiting the Texarkana Museums Systems. Check out the info below for the events on Friday, September 30 and Saturday, October 1.

Here are some of the events for this weekend:

BBQ contest check-in is Friday morning. If you have a great recipe to show off, use the entry form below to get signed up.

Friday night kicks off at 6PM with a street concert by Shooter Jennings, the son of the legendary Waylon Jennings and locals Greg Gardner VooDoo Cowboy. Cost is $10.

On Saturday the festival opens at 10AM and is free during the day events. Check out the Battle of the Bands competition at 6PM and then Robert St. John Band hits the stage at 7:30PM. Cost for admission to see the competition and concert is $10. benefiting the Texarkana Museums Systems.

The BBQ Cookoff is Saturday as well as a Best Bike competition. All bikes must be set up by 6:30PM on Friday for judging on Saturday.

All events will be located on East Front Street between Hazel and Olive Streets.
