You Won't Believe Which Town Is The 'Family Friendliest In Texas'

Don't confuse this with the "Friendliest Town in Texas," that article was written back in February of 2022 by the good folks at OnlyInYourState.com where they came to the conclusion that the little town of Llano, Texas fit that bill. Llano has a population of 3347, Saaaaaaalute! Please forgive my Hee Haw reference. While it may be true that Llano is the friendliest town, what we're talking about here is the "Family-Friendliest" town in Texas.

TravelPulse.com has released a listing of what they consider the "Family Friendliest" cities in all of the 50 states. Their conclusion for the Great State of Texas?

San Antonio

The Alamo City wins out, and for a lot of different reasons, according to the article.

I personally was born in Dallas and grew up mostly in Houston, I still have family in Houston and Fort Worth so I might disagree slightly in their findings, but San Antonio is a great city too, after all, it's in Texas right?

The River Walk is one of the coolest things ever for families to enjoy, with restaurants, shopping, museums, boat tours and more. If you can't find something you like along San Antonio's River Walk then you're no fun at all.

Historical sites, including and especially, the Alamo, are a Texan must-see adventure. Every Texan, no exceptions. The Alamo is one of the reasons Texans are so proud of their heritage.

Did you know there is a Ghost Walking Tour in San Antonio? Just learned that one myself. Six Flags Fiesta Texas is there, and Natural Bridge Caverns is nearby, plus Sea World San Antonio. For the best view around check out the Tower of the Americas. The Witte Museum tells the story of Texas from way before it was Texas. Mission San Jose, founded in 1720, is amazing, the Botanical Gardens are beautiful, and make new friends at the Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch. So, while Llano might be the "Friendliest Town" in Texas, let's face it there's not much to do there. San Antonio is chock full of stuff to do for the whole family.
