Excited For A New Discount Store Texarkana? Opens September 27

I saw the one they have in Shreveport over the weekend, however, I didn't have the time to stop in and browse for myself, but this new store opening very soon in Texarkana just might be worth the wait. 

Stretching the family budget just keeps getting harder to do, so, like most of you, we are constantly keeping an eye out for better bargains, and places to find those bargains and now we have an actual grand opening date for a new store coming to Texarkana.

The company itself is not new, just new to us. After doing a little Google Maps searching there are a number of these outlets across the I-20 corridor, several in Shreveport/Bossier, Marshall, Longview, and Tyler, Texas, and quite a few sprinkled around Dallas/Ft Worth. Arkansas locations include Little Rock, Hot Springs, and Pine Bluff.

Ollie's Bargain Outlet

You gotta love a store whose motto is "Good Stuff Cheap." The last "discount" chain to come to town was a complete disappointment in my opinion.

Ollie's discount chain appears to have many locations all over the US in fact, over 487 stores according to the information acquired at Ollies.us. They specialize in other store and manufacturer closeouts and discontinued items. That means the stock is going to change all the time.

The "now-hiring" signs have been up for a while now at the new location here in Texarkana which will be on N. Robison Rd. at New Boston Rd. next to Planet Fitness. If you're looking for work, this just might be a ground-floor opportunity for you. Log on to the website and apply now.

The Date?

The Texarkana Ollie's is set to open on September 27 according to inside sources. This date could adjust either way depending on set-up, stocking, and training of the store staff. The date hasn't been confirmed by store officials as of yet, but we know that's the date they are shooting for.

Another Ollie's Texas location is opening Wednesday, August 23 in Alvin, Texas, just south of Houston as this chain continues to grow rapidly.
